Awakening is an evangelistic initiative for the church to be awakened, equipped and re-envisioned for coming harvest led by Viv and long-time missions associate Keith Tipple.

Having sought the Lord we believe that, as a nation, we are standing at a point of new opportunity as far as the Gospel is concerned. If 2020 was a year of closedown and 2021 was a year of uncertainty, we feel that 2022 is the year of transition into opportunity and open doors for the rest of this decade. Over the last two years the Lord and His church have not been idle. Much seed has been sown through various platforms such as Livestreams, YouTube, Zoom and other technology.  Now it is Harvestime!!

We want to be obedient to what we believe the Lord has shown us and so we are launching an initiative which we have named ‘Awakening’.  In Matthew 10:7-8 Jesus gives His disciples a mandate to preach the gospel, heal the sick and set captives free.  He also said, “Freely you have received, freely give”, and so we don’t want financial considerations to be an obstacle to any church (large or small) partaking in this ‘Awakening’.

This initiative would be tailor-made for each church or group of churches, but may include a fresh awakening to the person and work of the Holy Spirit; equipping for evangelism; evangelistic events; and, especially, prayer for the sick.

AWAKENING
